This is Sophie's first play with 2nd story and she is honored to be a part of such an amazing production and team of actors. Sophie is a sophomore at LaSalle Academy, and she hopes to attend college to study theatre. At school, she is a member of the debate team, the swim team, and the chorus. She thanks her family and friends for supporting her through good times and bad. She dedicates her performance in Little Women to her mother, who "showed me what being a real women (young or adult) is all about."

Kim Dalton

This is Kim Dalton's first play with 2nd Story. She goes to community Preparatory School in Providence, where her favorite subject is currently Social Studies. She likes acting because she enjoys getting to slip into another person's character and getting to be onstage. When Kim s not acting, she is reading or writing. She would like to thank her entire family, especially her mom and stepdad for driving her from home to the theatre and back with a baby in the car.

Evan Kinnane

Evan Kinnane has been performing with 2nd Story ever since his first role as young Patrick in Auntie Mame. 5 seasons later, Evan has been privileged to not only keep performing here, but also learn the act of backstage management, stage management, and one of his favorite jobs: elevator chauffer. This summer, Evan attended the Young Actors Summer Institute at Trinity Rep where he expanded his knowledge of theatre technique by taking courses in writing and voice. This year, Evan will also have the opportunity to sing with his select chorus and Whoopi Goldberg in the Disney Candelight Processional. He is also a member of the Jr. Providnece Singers, studies dance, plays soccer and is determined to enjoy algebra. He remains forever thankful to 2nd Story and to all who continue to support his love of the arts.

Patricia Kinnane

The role of young Amy is Patricia Kinnane's third one at 2nd Story Theatre. She is learning a lot and is happy to be working alongside her older brother Evan. Patricia, 12, is the 8th of 9 children, although this year she has a new older brother, a foreign exchange student from Germany. In addition to learning German, Patricia will also be studying dance as she prepares to dance in the Downtown Disney Parade next June. She is most thankful to all of the people who have helped her become her best at the activities she loves.

Grey

Peyton Robb Buteau

Peyton comes from a family of performers but got bitten by the acting bug after seeing 2nd Story's productions of The Miracle Worker and To Kill a Mockingbird.

During the show he turned to his mom and said "I want to do that". This is his first time on stage at 2nd Story, after playing Bert in All my Sons at Barker Playhouse last Fall. Peyton loves the Little Women production and said he is having the time of his life!

Molly Coogen

Molly Coogan is an 8th grader at Barrington Middle School. She is a member of the choir and plays lacrosse and basketball. Molly has danced for 8 years at Moody's School of Dance in Warren. One of 4 children, with 27 first cousins, Molly loves being part of a big family.

Molly performed in Trinity Reps Christmas Carol in 2008, as Young Fan and Hunger, and she has also performed in a few school productions. She has enjoyed playing young Beth in Little Women and feels blessed to be part of the 2nd Story family.

Read Ruddick

This is Read Ruddick's first appearance with 2nd Story Theatre. Previous work includes The Ghost of Christmas Past in A Christmas Carol with the Kickemuit Masquers; The Poet in Down and Out for Barrington Community Theatre; along with other roles, and two years of a summer program at Rhode Island College. Read is an 8th grader at Kickemuit Middle School. She sings, plays the piano, crochets, and reads.

Ellie Ryan

Kathryn Woods

This is Kat Woods's first appearance at Second Story Theatre. She can be seen on the Travel Channel television show "Ghost Adventures" at the Lizzie Borden house. She also performed as a guard in Much Ado About Nothing at Saint Michaels Country Day School. She has also performed as Kili in The Hobbit at Portsmouth Community Theatre. She has been a participant for 5 years at YASI, a summer program at Trinity Repertory Theatre. She attended the Young Professional Actor's Summer Camps at TVI in both Los Angeles and New York. She would like to thank her parents, her Sister Lauren, her teacher Ms. Principe, her best friends Micah, Kelly, Emilie, Anna, and Lauren.

Arsenault

2nd Story: The Late Christopher Bean, The Good Doctor, The Voysey Inheritance. Ms. Arsenault has performed at regional theaters from DC to NY, and toured nationally with Missoula Children's Theatre. Training: BA Interdisciplinary Studies/Musical Theatre-GMU (Virginia), British American Dramatic Academy (Oxford University), OVERTURES Musical Theater Intensive (Kennedy Center). She has taught with a dozen theater outreach programs including Washington National Opera, ACT@SA, and Sakonnet Arts Network. Allison Crews

This is Allison Crews' first appearance with 2nd Story Theatre. Previous roles include Conchita in Anna in the Tropics, The Angel in Angels in America Part One: Millennium Approaches, Becca in Rabbit Hole, and Nina in The Seagull. Allison graduated from Rhode Island College in 2010 with a B.A. in Theatre Performance. She currently performs and produces for Rhode Island's own TEN31 Productions, a company that specializes in living art installations for special events. She would like to thank her mother and sister for their continued love and support.

Drager

Kristina Drager

Kristina Drager is a recent graduate of Rhode Island College with a Bachelors in Theatre Performance. She has appeared in many shows on the mainstage including Hay Fever (Judith Bliss), Angels in Amarica (Harper Pitt), Edward II (Queen Isabella) and The Seagull (Masha). Kristina has also worked with RIC's graduate theatre program performing in projects like Ashes to Ashes (Rebecca), In Hiding, and Medea. She has had the pleasure of performing with a number of independent theatres in Rhode Island including Perishable Theatre, and is very happy to be working at 2nd Story in Little Women. She thanks Bob Colonna for this amazing opportunity as well as the 2nd Story staff for their hard work and support.

Duckworth

Alex Duckworth

Alex Duckworth is an actor, musician and director. He is the co-founder of Burbage Theatre Company and recently graduated from Rhode Island College with a BA in Theatre Performance. Some of his favorite roles include Trigorin in The Sea Gull, Prior in Angels in America, Henrik Egerman in A Little Night Music and Leopold Nettles in Largo Desolato. Having already served as Musical Director for 2nd Story's summer production Speech & Debate, Duckworth is thrilled to be performing on the 2nd Story stage in Little Women. Kane

David Kane

David Kane holds a BFA in Acting from Emerson College and is a founding member of New York's newFangled Theater, where his credits include A Tack of an Amerikan Conscience, The Amerikan Trip-Tik, and an original adaptation of George Orwell's Animal Farm.

Little Women marks Dave's first performance at 2nd Story Theater. Other Rhode Island credits include The Stadium Theater and Trinity Repertory Company. Film work includes the short film "DUET", in which he starred and shared a co-writing credit.

In addition to acting, David has been an instructor with the Stadium Theater's Kids Kamp and with his own introduction to performance classes for youth.

Mancini

Rae Mancini

A 2nd Story actor since 1998, Rae thinks this may be her 27th 2nd Story production. Favorite 2nd Story roles include Stella in A Streetcar Named Desire, Lady Torrance in Orpheus Descending, Billie Dawn in Born Yesterday, Elmire in Tartuffe, and Hedda in Hedda Gabler; and singing with 2nd Story Theatre's Downstairs Cabaret. A Boston University grad, Rae studied, acted and sang in Boston and NYC before joining the 2nd Story family. She has also worked at Trinity Rep, Gamm, Theatre of Thought, Perishable, Brown and others, recently playing Martha in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf with The Willbury Group.

Sheehan

Erin Sheehan has a B.A. in Theater Performance from Rhode Island College, and has been lucky enough to be a part of 2nd Story Theater for the past three years. Previous shows include: The Dark at the Top of the Stairs, You Can't Take it With You, Voysey Inheritance, The Late Christopher Bean, and The Good Doctor. Thank you to 2nd Story for giving me the opportunity to learn, grow, and share the stage with such talented and giving actors.

Amy Thompson

At 2nd Story, Amy has appeared as Helen Keller in The Miracle Worker, Mayella Ewell in To Kill a Mockingbird, Debra in Kimberly Akimbo, and Hermia in A Midsummer Nights Dream. She can hardly believe this is her 21st role at 2nd Story! Elsewhere, favorite roles include Marsha in Let's Murder Marsha, Betty Jean in The Marvelous Wonderettes, Woman in Side By Side By Sondheim, and the Beggar Woman in Sweeney Todd.

After earning degrees in Theatre Arts and Computer Science and a partial scholarship in Jewelry and Light Metals, Amy spent many years at companies including Textron Financial Corporation (where she was selected employee of the year) and most other hours specializing in the operettas of Gilbert and Sullivan. When not in a theater or providing computer support through her company House.Calls, she is often found on a bike path.

Amy dedicates her performance to her family, friends, and teachers, especially Ed Shea and the late Mary Beck.

Westgate

Valerie Westgate is currently a theatre major at Rhode Island College. Favorite roles include: Nina in The Seagull, Catherine in Suddenly Last Summer, and Mary in The Bald Soprano. She is a proud founding member of the BTC, and appeared in the title role of August Strindberg's Miss Julie in September. Past 2nd Story roles include the Girl in "The Arrangement," in The Good Doctor (2011) and Diwata in Speech & Debate (2011).
